Portland Yacht Club

There is always something to do, drink and eat at PYC!

Our Executive Chef creates seasonal menus with a variety of tastes and cuisines that cater to our membership.  The service team takes care of all of the details, creating a memorable member dining experience.  Our professional bartenders serve craft beer, local wine and cocktails.

Kelly Bar

Named in honor of PYC’s first commodore, George Kelly, the Kelly Bar is a casual and comfortable social space, making it a top choice for sipping coffee or cocktails, and dining. This intimate space offers full-service dining for all ages, and views of the Columbia River, the club’s sailboat moorage, and North Portland Harbor.

Ballroom

The ballroom is our multi-use event space. On one end of the room, large windows provide a picturesque river view. On the other end is our stage for live music, and a dropdown screen for game days, movie nights, and educational presentations. The carpeted lounge in the ballroom provides the ideal location for large party dining. Other times, the ballroom is also our space for wine tastings, meetings for the Watercrafters crafting group, and fireside conversations.

Dining Room & Eaton Bar

Our formal dining room provides seating for larger events, or anytime with family and friends. On weekdays, you will see our Mah Jongg group playing, and regulars having lunch. For member events, we will serve a full buffet or formal dinner.

The Eaton Bar, named for its benefactors Bob and Cathy Eaton, is an additional bar on the east side of the building providing flexibility in member and private events, offering convenience and greater service to members. On warm summer days, you may find the Eaton Bar windows open to the patio for outdoor drink service.

Patio & Lawn

The expansive full-service patio offers members panoramic, private views of the Columbia River. In this space, we have live music performances, our annual Easter egg hunt, and socializing around the communal grill.

The lawn offers a breathtaking backdrop for wedding ceremonies. We will provide our collection of lawn games to add outdoor entertainment to any event.

When the weather cools, we will light up the heaters and firepits for autumn evenings or a front row seat to the Christmas Ships parade.

Moorage

Our marina is divided into three categories: the Open Moorage for sailboats sizes 20’ to 55’, the Closed Moorage for member-owned boathouses, and the Combined Moorage with uncovered slips for sail and powerboats up to 60’.  The property can accommodate over 200 boats divided equally to sail and power. Members can access our private fuel dock and a pump-out station. For boaters’ convenience, a 24-hour restroom with shower is located on the lower level of the club.
